Save Our Scene

We are calling on collective action from our electronic music community to #SaveOurScene.

In an open letter, signed by more than 4,000 people in the scene across five continents, published on Resident Advisor, they are calling on collective action from the electronic music community to save our scene. Now we are calling you to help us as well in these uncertain times.

Dance music is in trouble. Our club #database and most around the world are closed, record stores are shut, parties are cancelled. Many of the people who breathe life into this community, from artists to promoters to the small businesses running behind the scenes, have seen their income wiped out. Our scene is in more danger now than it ever has been. But it’s also never been more worth fighting for. That’s why, even as so many of us face personal hardship, we call on you, the dance music community, to help #SaveOurScene.

We want to support our local and international community of artists, as well as to bring creative ways to engage with all our fans that are isolated in their homes. We believe this will end soon and will get out of this together.

Meanwhile, we are updating our digital platform AlltimeClubbing where we will be doing upcoming live streamings, digital content, challenges and interviews by those talented artists that we hosted over the years at our events and club database.

People have seen their livelihoods collapse overnight as a result of the ongoing coronaovirus crisis. Apart of creating entertainment and learnings, the aim of this is to create a hardship fund to support our freelance community of local artists, DJs, designers, security and others that are losing their jobs and source of income due to this crisis.

We reaching out to our people and ask those in need to opt in to this fund. We have chosen to focus this effort on our freelance people, those that are in need. We are asking those who are financially able to consider donating to our paypal account. If you have anything to spare, please give generously to keep our community afloat during this tough time.

Thank you in advance and see you for a dance on the other side x
